• {Real Wedding} Jessica & Dwight: Cheery Morning Ceremony with Fun Nighttime 80’s Themed Reception

This wedding is doubly good.  It is full of cheery yellow love in its morning ceremony, and the couple had an 80’s themed party as their reception later that night.  With an 80’s cover band and everyone wearing 80’s outfits.  I would love to be invited to a wedding like that so I could get my crimper out of retirement (you know you had a crimper too!)

The ceremony venue was pure rustic gorgeousness.

At the end of the ceremony, guests serenaded the couple with “All You Need is Love” by The Beatles.

    I love DIY petal cones!

There may be nothing better than billy button boutonnieres.

The stationery suite set the warm and cheery tone.
And check out that 80’s themed reception card above!

The lovely florals were simple single arrangements and multiples in vintage mason jars and bottles.
And now, on to the party!

This might be my favorite picture.  Ever.

If you’re the bride and having an 80’s themed party, who better to be than Madonna!?

What a happy and fun wedding!  It looked like a true celebration of the couple and I’m so honored I got to share it with you.  Congrats Jessica and Dwight!

OMGoodness ~ seriously? This is just too much fun! I love the chapel that they were married in! Everything is so perfect for the morning ceremony! And then – let’s get physical – yeah for them!!! Madonna outfits, crimped hair, neon ~ ohhh the memories!

      P.S. – Yes, I did have a crimper too!

WOW! Two very different parts to the day ~ LOVE that they wanted to let their hair down eighties style and dance the night away! Looks like fun! That’s definitely the first Madonna inspired bride I’ve ever seen 🙂

I was featured on @loyal_hana blog as part of their motherhood series, so if you want to give it a read and hear about my typical (hot mess) day or how I (don't) balance work and mothering head to their profile to find the link to their site. I pretty much live in their nursing-friendly clothes and was honored to be featured. 3. Charlie took this picture (and basically directed me for the shot) and it makes me really really happy Putting the finishing touches on the boys' bedroom and had to stop to admire the magic that the morning light and their @babyjives mobile was making. ✨☁️⭐️❤️✨#charlieandcalsroomredo
Can a person be your happy place? Because I'm pretty certain that Quincy is mine ☺️✨ #quincyrhys #thatdimpletho This week was a rough one. I feel like I say that every week but this one really was. Today alone had me at my breaking point. All three of my kids seemed hell bent on driving me crazy. Quincy literally wouldn't let me put him down or leave the room without a major scream-cry fest. He rode around on the fuss bus allllll day. Tropical storm Calvin left destruction in his wake everywhere he went (if you follow me on snap/stories you got a little sampling but that was nowhere near the extent of it). At one point I went into a room away from my kids and sat in a chair and cried. Within three minutes one of them found me (of course) gave me a hug, and we were all better (except Calvin -- I think this is his permanent state ). This photo is my version of thinking happy thoughts. Bougainvillea vibes ✌️️✨
