{It’s in the Details} Cheese, Please! The Wedding Cheese Table

Did you see yesterday’s farm-to-table wedding shoot?  Because if so, I hinted about today’s post.  What could be better than serving cheese at your wedding?  I mean, it’s CHEESE!  Whether you’re having a low-key backyard wedding or a fancy classic and cool feté, you can include a cheese display.  Or if you don’t think it quite fits in with your wedding style, try it for the rehearsal dinner!  The above photo is perfect for a cocktail hour cheese display, and below are a few other ways to do a cheese table at your wedding.

You could have a cheese display table with chalkboard descriptions of the cheeses set up during cocktail hour.  Or, if cake isn’t your thing, you can have a cheese wheel cake in lieu of wedding cake (just be sure to serve some other desserts.)

If you’re having a low-key picnic-style wedding reception, say in your backyard, you could set up a cute table with cheese displayed for guests, with a cute sign like the photo above.

The best venue for a cheese table would be a vineyard wedding.  You could display the cheeses and give suggested pairings with a wine the vineyard offers or that you’re serving at the bar.  It is like a mini-wine and cheese tasting at your wedding.  Perfect for foodies!
Do you love the idea of a cheese display table at weddings?  How would you include cheese?

Yes! Cheese is my favorite. When we went to a wedding in Vermont last year, their cocktail hour featured cheese spreads from local farms. It was the best ever. I love this post!

  • Can I please freeze time and keep him this sweet bonnet wearing, sling loving chubby baby forever? #allthefeels #themorebabiesyouhavethemorebabiesyouwant #quincyrhys Cure for this heatwave? Surprised this fella with a solo ice cream date after school today and it was good. The company and the ice cream. Each one of my kids teaches me different things in different ways. Today this one taught me that two tantrums and a skipped nap do not a bad day make. Because despite his seriously trying my patience today we actually had a pretty good one. And his smiles are just the best ❤️ / Alternative caption: I want his bangs #mommacalvinselfies #calvins3rdyear #battlefieldmotherhood
