• {It’s in the Details} Cheese, Please! The Wedding Cheese Table

ways to serve and include cheese in your wedding by oh lovely day
Did you see yesterday’s farm-to-table wedding shoot?  Because if so, I hinted about today’s post.  What could be better than serving cheese at your wedding?  I mean, it’s CHEESE!  Whether you’re having a low-key backyard wedding or a fancy classic and cool feté, you can include a cheese display.  Or if you don’t think it quite fits in with your wedding style, try it for the rehearsal dinner!  The above photo is perfect for a cocktail hour cheese display, and below are a few other ways to do a cheese table at your wedding.

You could have a cheese display table with chalkboard descriptions of the cheeses set up during cocktail hour.  Or, if cake isn’t your thing, you can have a cheese wheel cake in lieu of wedding cake (just be sure to serve some other desserts.)

If you’re having a low-key picnic-style wedding reception, say in your backyard, you could set up a cute table with cheese displayed for guests, with a cute sign like the photo above.

The best venue for a cheese table would be a vineyard wedding.  You could display the cheeses and give suggested pairings with a wine the vineyard offers or that you’re serving at the bar.  It is like a mini-wine and cheese tasting at your wedding.  Perfect for foodies!
Do you love the idea of a cheese display table at weddings?  How would you include cheese?

Yes! Cheese is my favorite. When we went to a wedding in Vermont last year, their cocktail hour featured cheese spreads from local farms. It was the best ever. I love this post!

When it's 9 am and this shirt already describes your day, you're in trouble. Charlie is having a lot of feelings (a more accurate description is that his a-holeness is off the charts) the last couple weeks. I am sure it is baby brother related and I'm trying to be as patient and compassionate as I can but its reaaaaaallly hard given his attitude, sassiness, mean remarks, screaming, slamming, hitting, and refusal to do pretty much anything you ask. It isn't just almost 4 year old behavior anymore. I know it's normal when new siblings arrive but if anyone has any advice, anything that has worked for them, a book you found super helpful, etc I'm all ears. This may be the longest Wednesday ever. =--->
