I love color, don’t you? And no one has their pulse on color like pantone. I thought I’d share pantone’s color trends for spring 2013, and I’ll start sharing some inspiration boards built around my favorites (and yours, if you tell me which that is!)
{via pantone}
I’m in love with so many of these shades! The vibrant shades like poppy, emerald, and monaco blue are gorgeous, and the nectarine and grayed jade are really lovely. And lemon zest? I think you know where this is going…
A great way to get inspired for your wedding is to start with color. If pantone’s 2013 shades aren’t floating your color boat, paper source’s palette is also full of inspiration. Plus, for you DIY brides, matching your palette to their shades helps to have exact matches for any paper supplies you’ll buy for your wedding stationery.
And how fun is this colorscope,which tells you about your personality based on the color you choose. You can download your own here.
You know another place I get tons of color inspiration? The paint chip display at the local hardware/home improvement store. I’ve always loved admiring the different colors and swiping paint chips to take home.
So tell me, which colors do you gravitate towards? How do you get inspired by color? Which is your favorite of the 2013 color trends?
