• {Weekly Wrap-up} Week in Instagrams, Pins of the Week + A Giveaway Winner

Happy Sunday!  Are you going to be watching the Oscars tonight?  We do the Oscars big at our house – we get downright competitive with our picks.  We used to see every film nominated but it’s just too hard with a kiddo to keep up with.  This year we got screeners since my husband is in SAG, so at least we saw most of them.  I’m rooting for Silver Linings Playbook, even though I also loved Zero Dark Thirty, Argo, Lincoln, and a lot of other performances as well (hello! Naomi Watts in The Impossible was so good I was having a breakdown in my seat most of the movie. So powerful!)  We’ll talk all about it and who looked fab and who was ridiculous (no Angelina’s left leg this year , ok?) tomorrow!

instagrams of the week | oh lovely day

some pretties from my week included gold dusted earl grey macarons, thin mints (I’m a sucker for those!), tulips, pretty wrapping supplies, and a peek into someone’s house with great style, and we hit up Disneyland and had the most fun time.  all photos taken with my iphone using instagram – follow along!

    • My mom came to town to help for a week (YAY! ) and I got to leave the house alone for the first time in ages today. And I got my hair did. I feel a bit like a normal person again. Thanks to my mom and husby for holding down the fort while I was gone.
It's like a showdown of breastfeeding pillows over here these days. I was so sore and uncomfortable from breastfeeding the first week that I felt I needed a different pillow. My boppy, while it has the cutest cover made for me by @littleslumber, was the least comfortable. I've been using the My Brest Friend (yes, that's really what it is called) for the last two days and it is a huge improvement! Also pictured is the Dr. Brown's Gia (their bottles are my fave!) but I haven't tried it yet. Which is your favorite bf pillow? And any tips for keeping baby latched to try positions like side bf or laying down? I have a great nurser with a good latch but as soon as I try anything besides cross body while hand expressing he comes off. My back and hands need a little break!
