• Wedding Cake Trends from Love and Lavender

Hi Oh Lovely Day readers! It’s Ellen from Love and Lavender and I am thrilled to be here with you all today! I am a huge fan of sweets—who isn’t? So I thought it would be fun to share some of the amazing cakes I’ve been seeing lately. I am just so impressed with the creativity of both the brides and bakers out there—how do they come up with this stuff?

I love these ‘bare it all’ or naked cake. That is so unusual. :)

    • Time for another #fridayfollow - once upon a time Charlie had a babysitter we super loved. She moved, has had her own adorable baby, and now has joined with 2 other moms to start @trendybubs - making cute + cool clothes for babies and littles. And they sent this adorable gift my way - baby harem pants (I'm so obsessed with harem pants and Calvin has almost no clothes little enough to fit him yet!), a matching slouchy hat for Charlie, and a twist headband for me. I love this adorable pineapple print too! You should follow them to keep up with all the cute handmade things and get some Trendy Bubs yourself. So so sweet Emily- thank you so much! (and if you want to follow along with things I've been trying and loving with baby Calvin and postpartum, I'm tagging those posts with #momandcalvinapproved
