• My Favorite Things For Valentine’s Day

Now that it is February, it’s time to think about Valentine’s Day. I’m not really into Valentine’s Day as a “romantic holiday” but I love it for fun, whimsical crafts and ideas. Hearts, pink, red, chocolate…what’s not to love? So I thought I’d share some of my favorite ideas for Valentine’s Day to get your creative juices flowing. And I’ll have a fun DIY and a great free printable coming up before the big day too. Until then…

Best Yummy Treat For Yourself Your Valentine

    Valentine's Day Puppy Chow

I make a different version of puppy chow at Christmas, but this version from Life, Love & Sugar looks even better!

Best Dress For a Valentine’s Day Date

I have this dress in two other shades, and am currently ordering it in this neon red. A must have!

Cutest Valentine For Your Kiddos (or the kiddo in your Valentine)

    Dino Valentine DIY

I’ve notoriously spray-painted and crafted with Charlie’s plastic toy animals, but his dinosaurs have remained unscathed. That’s about to change thanks to Lovely Indeed.

The Valentine I Would Make If I Knew How to Use My Sewing Machine

DIY Heart Pillow by Bramble Workshop on DLF

Bramble Workshop & designlovefest certainly didn’t invent the heart pillow, but they sure did make me wish I could sew one of their pretty creations (time to take a sewing class to learn how to use the sewing machine my mom gifted me for Christmas!)

Most Creative Valentine That Takes Very Little Effort

You Rock Valentine by Wiley Valentine

How adorable (and incredibly easy) are these You Rock valentines created by my friend Rachelle of Wiley Valentine for The Honest Company. The best part is she created a free printable for the tag (which you can find here), so these really are so easy. I’m going to make some for my son’s friends for our Valentine’s Day party – he loves to find and collect rocks!

How do you do Valentine’s Day?

I love that little “Kiss Me” banner, and of course, the gold dinosaur rocks!
