    • Cal, we celebrated your first Christmas and your turning 19 weeks yesterday. You have discovered your hands in a new way, constantly turning them over in front of your face. You track my every movement. You are interested in what everyone is eating and seem to want to follow your brother around already. We're still trying to figure out how you sleep best and naps are improving but not great. But my favorite thing is that no matter how short or long you sleep, if you cry it out a little or a lot, as soon as I come in the room and look down at you in your crib, you light up and give me a heart melting smile, as if to say "there you are! That's all I wanted." I never want to forget that. #calvinsweekbyweek
While nursing Calvin has been pretty easy comparatively, I had a completely opposite experience with Charlie. Sharing a little about my first nursing experience and some advice for other struggling mothers. Hindsight has given me some pretty strong opinions on the breastfeeding vs bottle feeding debate. Let's support motherhood and start a #nourishwithoutshame movement. Breast or bottle - we're all just doing our best. Mothers shouldn't be shamed or judged for feeding their children, however they choose to do so. Either way they are being FED, and isn't that the point? Head over to @itsmomtastic to read more and leave your own opinions in the comments. http://www.momtastic.com/parenting/483361-stop-bottle-shaming-ok-not-breastfeed/
