• Rain Boots from Joules

rain boots by Joules | Oh Lovely Day

Living in Los Angeles, I don’t get the opportunity to wear rain boots that often (especially not this season!) but sometimes you find a pair of rain boots so cute, that you wear them even when the sun is shining. These polka dot cuties from Joules are those rain boots.

I love the polka dots combined with the striped detailing on the back. And they have the cutest brass buckles. It was hard to choose just one pair, because Joules has so many chic styles. Whether you live in rainy Seattle or sunny LA, a cute pair of rain boots are a must, don’t you think?

Side note – if you missed my announcement, I’m about 20 weeks pregnant with my second baby in these photos, so I’m not the best model at the moment. I’m aware :)

    • Calvin and I caught the cold going around our house and poor buddy is not feeling good. It's been one thing after another lately and just when I feel like I can't handle another thing, Calvin wakes up after only 20 minutes of sleeping in the stroller. And then he gives me a look that reminds me that it's all worth it, it's all temporary, and to just try to smiling through it like he is. Just keep smiling. And sucking out snot with the Nose Frieda.
Oh hi there Calvin. You're 14 weeks (and a day), seem to be coming out of a fussy growth spurt, you now like the paci (you almost require it, which is new), and you gave me your first belly laugh yesterday. More of those please. And more naps. Naps and belly laughs.
