Virginia DIY Winery Wedding: Jess & Dave

Today’s wedding from TALL+small Photography is so classically lovely, so elegant, and has such a personal, down-home feel.  I love the setting: a bit of winery, a bit of farmland, with the breathtaking beauty of the Virginia hills surrounding.  Also, the kitty photo bomb is pretty great!

    {Color Crush} Mint + Yellow Wedding Inspiration

    mint + yellow wedding inspiration

My color crush on mint is nothing new, but now I’m crushing hard on the mint + yellow combo for spring. Add some aqua into the mix, and you’ve got a palette that is crisp, refreshing, modern, and fun.  I’m thinking confetti, stripes, ruffles, and pops of color are the perfect mix of prep and […]

    • Wrapping presents this morning while my boys are out Christmas shopping. We try not to overdue it for Christmas, especially because the boys have August and November birthdays. Aside from what Santa brings (and he only brings the couple things the kids ask for, which this year is a kitchen and a toy trumpet for Charlie) we try hard to stick to the motto: something you want, something you need, something to wear, and something to read. How cute are those matching pjs and fox friends? (Sources tagged). This has been the most fun Christmas yet to shop for because Charlie is really excited and Calvin has joined the family ❤️
