{Color Crush} Shades of Summer: Peach, Coral + Glittery Gold from The Perfect Palette

Chrissy here from The Perfect Palette! Happy to be pop over and share some color inspiration with you all while Chandra is off taking a much deserved break! I don’t know about you, but with summer just around the corner, I just can’t help but think of all the pretty summer shades! Behold – gorgeous shades of peach, touches of coral and glittery gold! I’m pretty much in love with these colors and I hope you can see why! I just love how the lighter peachy hues are contrasted by the metallic golden shades. Oh, and who could go without mentioning this fabulous cake?

Make no mistake about it! Sparkly gold has absolutely captured my heart here lately. Mix in peachy tones and touches of whimsy and you’ll have a party palette that’s just full of possibilities. Aloha! Sara from Burnett’s Boards stopping by today. I was bowled over and so honored when Chandra asked me to guest post here on Oh Lovely Day! I’ve been a long time fan of this blog and so when it got its facelift a couple months back I feel in love with it all over again. I love the colors on this site’s design: the coral-y orange, gold, hint of silver – it’s perfect, fresh, and modern! {Color Crush} Mint + Yellow Wedding Inspiration

My color crush on mint is nothing new, but now I’m crushing hard on the mint + yellow combo for spring. Add some aqua into the mix, and you’ve got a palette that is crisp, refreshing, modern, and fun. I’m thinking confetti, stripes, ruffles, and pops of color are the perfect mix of prep and femininity to add to this festive palette.

so, do you love this color combo as much as I do? The sparkly gold mixed with the graphic black and white patterns is pretty much perfection in my book. I want a room in my home to match this board!

{Inspiration Board} Sparkle + Mink Winter Wedding

{inspiration} for that winter wedding that’s not exactly a holiday wedding, not exactly a New Year’s wedding, but wants a little extra sparkle & pop

{palette & details} winter white + silver sparkle, of course, but with pops of deep red in the bride’s lips and nails, and pops of red in the florals would be lovely. I also love the idea of the bride wearing a vintage or faux fur mink wrap.
