    • Today was straight up rough. Charlie was all over the place emotionally. I was really feeling like I was failing him somehow. But for an hour this afternoon he and I dug in the dirt and found 8 rollie pollies, a termite, and a bug I couldn't identify. He put each one in his bug cage (thank you $1 bin at @target) to take to school tomorrow. He was so happy and I was so happy. Then it was back on the Charlie roller coaster until I tucked him in and said goodnight. But this -- this made the day with him a good one. And then I remembered every day with him is a good one, even when it's not.
