What is it about rain that makes things so dreamy and romantic in photos? It was dreary and overcast in LA yesterday and I didn’t want to leave the couch, but to see big gloomy clouds and rain in photos gets me in the romantic mood. It’s sexy even, am I right? So when Brushfire Photography sent this beauty of an e-session my way…well, it had to be shared. Read More
Isn’t it everyone’s fantasy to honeymoon in Paris and have a talented photographer take photos of you all around the city while you’re in deep in your newly-wedding bliss? So when this honeymoon shoot was sent my way, I literally squealed with joy. Dimitry and Olga, were married in their native Moscow, flew to Paris for their honeymoon, and Olivier Lalin of WeddingLight documented their visit. So grab a latte and a croissant, and enjoy a taste of Paris for a little while.
So, who’s ready to book a flight to Paris right now? My husband and I were trying so hard to go in May, because we spent the first day of our honeymoon there on our way to Italy and have wanted to go back ever since, but I don’t think it is in the cards for this year. Maybe our five year anniversary? We’ll see…
Happy first day of November! Did everyone have a fun Halloween? I am finally on the mend from this terrible cough and was able to go trick-or-treating with my fellas. Before we get to the rest of today’s e-session, here’s a little peek of my favorite costume idea ever:
What did everyone else dress as for Halloween? I’ve always loved this holiday,
but it is SO much more fun when you have kids – I had no idea!
Now for today’s gorgeous fall engagment session: I love it for a couple of reasons. First, the images by Ben & Les Photography
are drop dead gorgeous (and so is the couple, btw!) Secondly, I’m an Ohio girl myself, so to see this gives me a taste of home in the fall, which I miss so much. And the bride-to-be said they wanted their e-session to be about their love and the things they love, which is their country life. I think this is the perfect mix of country-chic-romantic-sexy. And I’m coveting her white lace dress. Is that enough reasons?
Kinda makes you want to have some private time with your honey in a cornfield (or in this case a bean field), no?
I love the contrast in today’s engagement session between the outdoor setting and the urban locations. Lots of color, lots of inspiration, & lots of l-o-v-e.
