I don’t feature many engagements anymore, but sometimes one comes along and you fall in love. This countryside Missouri engagement is one of those. It’s almost magical with the field of green grass, the gentle horse, the hot air balloon, and of course the love between Elaine and Mike, all beautifully captured by L. Frisch Photography. Read More

I rarely share engagements these days, but I’ve been waiting to share this one. We’ve already featured DIY’s from this couple’s wedding (remember these Vintage Postcard Save-the-Dates and these kiddo goodie bags?), have another DIY coming up soon, and am sharing their sweet wedding in the very near future as well! This is also our first same-sex engagement feature, which is long overdue. I’m hoping more of those will show up in my submissions inbox. These images of Hannah and Kristie by Love & Perry Photography are so stunning and full of love that they’re sure to end your week on the perfect note. Read More
I love everything about today’s bohemian-eco-chic engagement session: the couple’s fabulous style, their upcycled furniture and decor, and that they choose to be photographed at home. It makes the session that much more personal and intimate. It makes me want to snuggle with my sweetie and some wine on my own (far less fabulous) patio. The gorgeous images from Sun & Sparrow capture it all beautifully. Read More
What do you get when a fabulous photography duo gets the camera turned on them from another amazing photographer? Today’s edgy anniversary shoot, of course! Jason & Jessica Williams of Session Nine Photography celebrated their nine-year wedding anniversary by having a fun photo session shot by Mike Olbinski. I’m a fan of all three and I also think if you didn’t get photos that you dreamed of from your wedding day, then you definitely need a re-do! I love the rock-n-roll vibe and gritty locations to contrast with such loving couple, don’t you? Read More
When I first moved to LA, I was a little sad to leave a city that I beyond loved (Chicago) to live somewhere new that didn’t have deep dish pizza. But after about a year, I realized what a truly amazing place I was living in, and how many amazing spots you could find here. One of my favorites is Griffith Observatory. Add an adorable couple and a fabulous wardrobe, and you’ve got one of my favorite engagement sessions in a long time.
