Sorry for missing the weekly wrap up post this Friday. I’m a little under the weather. But I did want to post quickly because I got some exciting news this morning – a DIY post I wrote was picked up by MSN! I’m so excited! *throws confetti & pops champagne* Fingers my fingers so hard that it gets selected for the homepage. Check it out, and please leave a comment if you like it. If it is well received it would increase the chance it makes the homepage. I really appreciate your support!
And this good news was on top of some excitement we had in our home last night. My husband is an actor and has been working very hard for the last ten years. He finally got a great break and will be seen in the new miniseries “Hatfields and McCoys” starting Memorial Day. And last night they showed the first preview for it. Check it out here
Happy Friday! xx
Happy Friday! Today I’m guest posting over on Chalk + Dot today – doing a little overview of the details and DIY projects I did for my son Charlie’s vintage circus first birthday party. Head over to check that out, especially if you want to see me in a top hat. Here’s a little preview:

November has been a crazy busy month y’all! I swear I feel like I just can’t keep up with it. It is probably because we traveled, Charlie had his first birthday and I also had a birthday, I threw Charlie a party, he has been sick twice this month, and my husband keeps traveling for work. I know I’m going to blink and it will be Christmas morning! So, I’m a bit behind on keeping you updated on my guest posts for One Wed. In case you’ve missed them, here’s a little recap:

And because every post is better with a photo, here is a little sneaky peaky of my little one’s 1st birthday party this weekend:
Charlie was a strongman, but his “muscles” are a bit saggy here. And he was a little crabby about it.
