I was searching and scouring the internet for a fabulous wedding to post today as my send off for a week off (well, not OFF but revisiting the most popular posts of 2011 to give me a little break with the fam). This one knocked my socks off, and Erin Hearts Court was kind enough to allow me to share it with you. I’ve been a huge fan of Erin Hearts Court for a while, and this wedding is a perfect example of why.
If you’re a winter bride, you know your florals depend on what is in season. You aren’t likely to get peonies, but you do have some fabulous choices that really showcase what a winter wedding is all about. Here are five of my favorite looks:
So what do you think? If I were to have a winter wedding, I think I’m the veggie bride – I’ve always loved ornamental cabbage and kale as florals and that blue thistle is amazing. But that cotton is also really cool, and I love pine and evergreen. So torn! Which is your winter floral style?
Tis the season to get crafy, and there are so many great holiday DIYs out there for either your home or holiday party, or you can totally incorporate them into a winter or Christmas wedding. Here are a few of my favorites:
I love ornaments. I like to collect them and make them and add to my collection every year. These washi tape ornaments are so easy, fun, and really pretty. Hang them on your tree, give them as gifts, or use them in your wedding decor and give them as favors!
I’ve had this board waiting in the wings for a little while, and I thought you might need a little sparkle on this Monday morning. I love doing shades of gold in layered glittery textures for a holiday table, winter wedding, or a New Year’s fete.
