This e-session is so authentically Canadian it makes me want some maple syrup or a Labaat Blue! Devon and Jay wanted to incorporate all the things they loved, snow shoeing on their 5 acre property in the country, their dog Chloe, the bench where Jay popped the question, the snow, their love for all things outdoors and of course their love for one another!
I’m a big fan of DIY projects and personalizing your wedding. I saved my favorite DIY projects featured on other wedding blogs and want to share one of them with you today…Hot Cocoa & Marshmallows! Originally featured here on Style Me Pretty and done by Kathleen of Twig and Thistle, this project is another great wedding favor for a fall or winter wedding or cute addition to out-of-town bags for guests. It would also make a great regular party favor or hostess gift!
Since I am not suffering in snow like most of the country, I am still a little nostalgic for winter. That, combined with wanting to help someone come up with ideas on how to design a winter/holiday wedding for next year without looking too Christmasy, led me to utilize the Style Circle Inspiration Board creator over at Style Me Pretty that I mentioned in a previous post. It really is an amazing design tool!
